ADM Work/Life Balance
ADM is a great company providing opportunities for growth. Pay is fair, and work environment is variably hot in summer and cold in winter. The employees have low morale and do not have a very good work ethic. There is slow advancement and hiring process takes long and is monotonous. Management is good, but takes a long time for major projects to get completed.
There are long work days from 8-12 hours, 7 days a week and swing shifts. To have weekends off is only by request and availability, when you take off everyone else works 12hrs and vice versa.
Only other time off is for plant fogging which occurs one day a month or on holidays. Management doesn’t give attention to how much you have to work: they’re off every weekend. They will always keep you busy working even if there is nothing to do, instead of giving you optional time off.
ADM is a good place to work with good benefits. The company offers good work/life balance. There are fewer excellent managers who care for team members and team members are excellent.
