USIC Interview Process

After you have submitted your application, you may be contacted by a recruiter who will conduct a telephone interview.

During the phone interview, the recruiter will ask questions about your experience and skills that are needed for the position.

The recruiter will also assess your personality traits as well as your ability to work in a team environment.

If you pass the assessment, then you will proceed to the next stage of the hiring process.

Once you have been selected for an interview, you will receive further instructions on how to prepare for it.

You should expect to meet with two or three members of the recruiting team during the interview.

 Physical Exam

On hire day, you will be expected to attend a physical examination and drug test.

  • Take lots of water before the exam starts.

  • Bring comfortable clothing.
  • Wear shoes that can easily get wet.

  • Arrive earlier than the time for the exam; say 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Do not eat or drink anything after midnight on the day before the exam.
  • Stay hydrated throughout the entire exam.
  • Get someone to take you home after completing the exam.

  • Contact your doctor immediately if you feel sick or injured.
  • Report any injuries or illnesses right away.

Hearing from USIC after the Interview

After you have passed the screening process, you will receive a confirmation email stating that you have been offered a job with USIC.

You will also receive a pay stub showing your first paycheck.

Salary: $25-$35 per hour.

  • Electrical Engineer

Description: Responsible to design, develop, install, operate, and maintain all types of electrical systems and components.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years of engineering experience; knowledge of building codes and standards; knowledge of construction practices; knowledge of electrical theory and practice; knowledge of safety procedures; knowledge of software applications.
