However, Glassdoor gives the average salary to be $141K per year, according to its June 6th, 2024 report, with a range of $113K – $180K per year.

Also, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in its 2023 report states the average salary of web developers and digital designers, which are related job titles to the UI developer, as $92,750 per year.  

UI Developer Job Outlook

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of web developers and digital designers is expected to expand 13 percent from 2020 to 2030, faster than the national average.

On average, the number of web developers and digital designer jobs expected each year during the next decade is 17,900.
